The Opportunity

We are seeking a Private Credit Associate to join a high-performing private credit platform on an ongoing contract basis. This role sits within the credit operations function and will support the day-to-day running of operations across Direct Lending, Credit Opportunities and Syndicated Debt strategies.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced credit or loan operations professional to work within a fast-growing, private credit environment, with exposure to a broad range of corporate credit instruments and strategies.

Key Responsibilities

You will support the credit operations team across a wide range of activities, including:

  • Static data setup for borrowers, investments and legal hierarchies
  • End-to-end trade settlement processes
  • Maintenance of portfolio management and back-office systems to ensure investment activity and positions are accurately recorded and reconciled by the Fund Administrator
  • Maintaining accurate position records and internal tracking tools
  • Reviewing three-way reconciliations
  • Maintaining exception logs and break resolution trackers, including root cause analysis
  • Liaising with fund administrators and facility agents to ensure timely reconciliation and issue resolution
  • Supporting audit data requests and maintaining appropriate evidence documentation

Skills, Experience & Attributes

Qualifications & Experience

  • 18 months plus experience in Direct lending Ops or Loan Operations role
  • Strong knowledge of corporate credit instruments
  • Solid understanding of loan market standards and best practices
  • Experience of the loan trade settlement lifecycle, familiarity with LMA and/or LSTA frameworks is advantageous
