We are recruiting on behalf of a global financial services organisation for an experienced Loans Transaction and Account Manager to join their Structured Finance operations team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior-level role in a specialist division supporting international shipping finance and structured lending activity.

The Opportunity

As Loans Transaction and Account Manager, you will take ownership of the operational lifecycle of all loan transactions, managing them from initial onboarding and funding through to ongoing loan administration. You will work in close partnership with deal teams, treasury, finance and technology groups to ensure efficient processes, accurate data management, and exceptional service standards.

This position sits within a global business line providing innovative secured lending solutions to the maritime and offshore shipping sector. With teams based across London, Zurich, Dublin and New York, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a growing portfolio in a niche asset class.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end loan transaction and account management process for new and existing structured finance deals
  • Coordinate client onboarding, funding and settlements in partnership with internal stakeholders
  • Review and interpret loan documentation for system booking purposes into Loan IQ
  • Manage entries in the firm’s loan management platform (Loan IQ) and maintain data integrity across operational systems
  • Supervise operational workflows and support team members where appropriate
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and platform solutions for better portfolio and risk management
  • Support payment mechanics, reconciliations and operational reporting as required

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience in loan operations or structured finance administration
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members is advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience working with complex loan documentation and payment structures
  • Strong working knowledge of Loan IQ is highly desirable
  • Proven attention to detail and high levels of numerical accuracy
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and international environment
  • Excellent communication skills and advanced Excel proficiency
