Salary: Up to $110,000 base + discretionary bonus + full benefits
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global financial institution for a Loans Agency Administrator at AVP level. This role can be based in New York or Jersey City (preference available for the candidate) with a hybrid arrangement of 3 days at home and 2 days in the office. This permanent opportunity is ideal for a candidate with strong syndicated loan administration experience as an agent, looking to play a key role in supporting complex agency transactions across diverse sectors, including asset-based lending, project finance, and securitisation.
About the Role
The Loans Agency AVP will be responsible for managing syndicated and bilateral loan servicing activities as an agent using the ACBS system. The successful candidate will help coordinate new deal closings, maintain accurate loan data, ensure compliance with internal and external standards, and serve as a key liaison between internal teams, agent banks, borrowers, and external stakeholders.
This role offers exposure to structured finance, term loan B, equity fund finance, and other sophisticated lending products. You will be entrusted with responsibility for transaction execution, portfolio administration, and supporting the full lifecycle of lending activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of agency deal closings, from document review to final funding and notification
- Act as the main point of contact, coordinating with borrowers, agent banks, participant lenders, and internal departments
- Build deals in the bank’s lending platform ACBS and ensure accuracy in credit arrangement setup
- Calculate, invoice, and manage deal-related fees, interest, and repayments
- Maintain oversight of collateral requirements, financial covenant monitoring, and reporting obligations
- Resolve discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure clean reconciliation of loan and cash positions
- Lead or participate in ad hoc projects to enhance data integrity and improve process efficiency
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience of loan servicing as agent
- Proficient in loan operating systems
- Experience working in compliance-aware environments with strong regulatory understanding
- High attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills across internal and external parties
