Role Overview

As an Associate within the Loan Finance Operations team, you will support the management of a principal investing portfolio, engaging with key stakeholders throughout the investment process. Your role will encompass all operational management of a portfolio of Syndicated and Bilateral deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end transaction processes for syndicated and bilateral deals, including:
  • Coordinating deal approvals with the investing team.
  • Submitting KYC requests and conducting conflict checks.
  • Overseeing deal closings and managing cash flows.
  • Reviewing loan documentation to facilitate booking within LoanIQ.
  • Conducting ongoing loan administration and managing borrower covenants.
  • Settling secondary loan trades via Clearpar and coordinating with sub-agency services on agented deals.
  • Expand your experience into fund administration for third-party capital and participate in data and automation projects.

What You Offer

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in financial or professional services in a similar role.
  • Syndicated Loans experience is essential
  • Previous experience with LoanIQ (or equivalent loan management system) is preferred but not essential
  • Strong numerical and Excel skills, along with problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a high attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
