Our client, a global bank based in the heart of London, is looking for a Loan Closing Analyst to join their them on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. You will be supporting the Middle office and the Front Office teams within the International Acquisition Finance Department as well as the Asset Management & Origination teams in the preparation of credit applications, ratings for new transactions and further support within the fast-paced middle office.
Within this 6 month FTC, you will be liaising with internal and external counterparties, helping to review LMA documents as well as managing secondary loan settlement processes
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Highly numerate and experienced in loan closing OR Loans middle office
- Knowledge of credit agreements
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask and work accurately whilst under pressure
- Knowledge of Loan IQ and ClearPar is preferred but not essential
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing secondary loan settlement processes, ensuring timely and accurate settlement of the trades.
- Liaising with internal and external counterparties such as for necessary arrangement of loan settlement and booking.
- Understanding, reviewing, and drafting LMA standard documents and other trade-related documents including confirms, assignment agreements, sub-participation agreements, pricing letters and multilateral agreements.
- Conducting KYC / AML analysis on trade counterparties
- Preparing internal documents required for booking / funding for settlement
- Keeping accurate trade record and maintain a healthy aging profile and driving reduced settlement times.
- Accurate production of internal reporting
- Providing fast and accurate support for front office teams
