About the Role:

A high-performing global investment fund is hiring for a CLO Operations Manager to help build out the CLO Operations function. The firm trades across global macro asset classes and maintains a high-touch, collaborative environment where precision and experience are key.

This is a senior-level, hands-on role requiring deep operational expertise in the CLO space, particularly around lifecycle management, trade settlements, risk monitoring, and front office collaboration. The role is fully office-based and demands someone who has the entrepreneurial flair to be part of the company’s CLO journey from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automation and Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and lead process automation initiatives
  • Trade Validation: Ensure accurate trade capture across internal and external systems
  • Settlement Oversight: Manage CLO loan settlements through outsourced partners and counterparties
  • Lifecycle Events: Supervise coupon payments, paydowns, PIKs and resolve escalations from outsourced teams
  • Cash and Reconciliation: Lead daily cash and trade reconciliations, trustee payment cycles and liquidity forecasting
  • Compliance & Risk: Track and test CLO compliance, monitor portfolio performance post-reinvestment
  • Syndicated Loans: Manage loan participation, liaise with agents, and support restructuring events
  • Reporting: Drive reporting accuracy across trustees, service providers and the front office

Required Experience:

  • At least 7 years in CLO operations, ideally on the buy-side
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Strong working knowledge of credit products, CLO structures, and lifecycle management
  • Proficient with platforms like WSO and WSO Compliance, Excel, and Bloomberg
  • Experience reviewing CLO documentation and interacting directly with Portfolio Managers
  • Familiarity with warehouse stages and deal closings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in high-pressure environments
