An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Trade Finance Administrator, to join the London office of a successful Multinational Bank. 

Responsibilities of the Trade Finance Administrator: 

  • Ensuring efficient processing of all related Trade Finance products.
  • Import and export l.c issuance, confirmations, advising, amendments, negotiation.
  • SBLC and Guarantee issuance.
  • Open account financing and receivable discounting.
  • System support UAT work as necessary
  • Performing all clerical, system and ad hoc functions assigned
  • Fully conversant and keep up to date re market practice with UCP 600 and respective ISBP, URC522, ISP98, URDG 758.
  • Keeping up to date with compliance / fraud / money laundering procedures as directed by the Bank, complete training and courses as required
  • Take ownership of own daily workflow and prioritization of work.
  • Timely and accurate processing of Trade Finance Operations work
  • Timely feedback to enquiries from internal and external sources
  • Processing of work in accordance with the established procedures, policies, guidelines, code of conduct and standards as applicable
  • Take ownership of assigned processing.
  • Escalate any errors, problems, exceptions or abnormal transaction to Head of Trade Operations
  • Participate in UAT work as and when required

Experience required of the Trade Finance Administrator:

  • All aspects of Trade Finance Processing
  • Good interpersonal skills with customer centric approach
  • Hands-on team player, co-operative, proactive and reactive and to work on own initiative
