Our client, a UK corporate bank based in the city who specialise (among other products) in providing expertise in syndicated and bilateral lending are looking for a Senior Loans Agency Analyst to join their London office. This will be the chance to learn the Agency transaction management role with thorough training provided.
Main Responsibilities of the Senior Loans Agency Analyst:
- Global responsibility for handling the administrative and agency function for Investment Banking’s corporate syndicated loans.
- Responsible for post syndication “after sales service” interface between borrowers and syndicate lenders where they are Agent
- Timely collection and distribution of financial information and related correspondence to syndicate lenders
- Processing waiver and amendment requests for the Borrower, ensuring compliance with loan documents i.e. financial covenants.
- Processing of novations.
- Pre-signing review of loan documentation ensuring compliance with SEB internal policies and guidelines.
- Liaise with and support the back office in the setting up of new deals where they are involved and the ongoing administration, both for facilities where they are agent and also where they take a participation in a corporate syndicated facility.
Skills and Experience required of the Senior Loan Agency Analyst:
- Experience of Loan Administration OR Loan Documentation
- Team player
- Ability to add value and think outside the box
- Have knowledge of Small to medium sized syndicates
