A great opportunity has arisen for a Loan Servicing Analyst to join the Loans Agency team of a successful European Asset Management company.
The ideal candidate will have had hands on experience of working in Loans Agency OR Loans Administration. The Loans Analyst needs to be a proactive and self-motivated individual, ready to take broad responsibility within a small team and must perform well in a fast-paced and complex environment.
Main Responsibilities of the Loan Servicing Analyst:
- Book loans and other asset classes and manage all related activity such as interest and fee payments, drawdowns, rollovers, prepayments and ad hoc payments
- Perform the agency role – calculation, notice generation and distribution and responding to queries
- Review legal documentation related to the investment and identify all pertinent information required for servicing
- Liaise with 3rd party agents for loan activity
- Administer waivers and amendments, assist with the processing of lender transfers as required
- Respond to lender / borrower queries and requests
- Work alongside project manager with the selection and implementation of a new Loan Servicing software
Skills required of the Loan Servicing Analyst:
- 3 + years Loan Servicing experience
- Understanding of loan documentation, LMA Loan agreements
- Ability to calculate loan interest, fees, process drawdowns, rollovers etc.
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office and particularly Excel
- Quick learner, ability to take initiative and work well unsupervised
- Strong worth ethic, proactive approach with a can-do mentality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail, strong organisational skills
- Calm under pressure & able to work accurately to tight deadlines
