Our client, a leading British private equity firm are recruiting a Loan Operations Analyst (Closer) to working in their London office, focusing primarily on trade capture, settlements and reporting.
Main Responsibilities of the Loan Operations Analyst (Closer):
Trade Capture
- Promptly booking all Loan trades in WSO and updating internal systems.
- Close monitoring of incoming trades to ensure accurate and timely trade capture.
- Liaising with Portfolio Managers and Traders where necessary to resolve any trade discrepancies.
- Regular trade reconciliation between WSO, Clearpar and internal systems. Working to resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Bond Settlement
- Managing the settlement and allocation process for bonds traded across the European Markets.
- Liaising with administrators, custodians and counterparties to ensure successful settlement within tight deadlines.
- Closely monitoring failing trades and working with counterparties to resolve any settlement issues.
Reporting
- Producing daily transaction reports for all traded assets falling under the scope of MiFID II.
- Working with the Compliance department to ensure MiFID II reports are checked and submitted prior to tight deadlines.
- Producing ad hoc reporting for Front Office, as well as tailored reports for Clients.
- Key Relationships
Skills required of the Loan Operations Analyst (Closer):
- Minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 2 years’ operational experience within Banking or Asset Management
- Operational experience within the Credit space, working with Loans OR Bonds
- Trade capture and maintenance
- Knowledge of WSO and Clearpar desirable
- Proficient in Excel
