Our client, a large Multinational Bank, are looking for a Credit Administration Officer to join the London based Middle Office Credit Risk department reporting to the Head & Deputy Head of Credit Risk.
Main Responsibilities of the Credit Administration Officer:
- Conduct the credit administration work including but not limited to ensuring compliance with the credit terms of approval, reviewing the credit commitment letter, credit agreement, facility ticket, etc.
- Responsible for credit file management.
- Responsible for financial covenant / undertakings checking, and effectively monitoring, identifying and reasonably measuring credit risk on the Bank’s asset portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with the credit terms of approval, the credit commitment letter, etc.
- Review the credit agreement in line with the credit approval document.
- Review the facility ticket to ensure that it is consistent with the credit agreement and send the notification to related department to complete the disbursement.
- Review the loan payment and repayment requests and check that all the disbursement conditions have been met.
- Review the credit files from related departments to ensure the authenticity and completeness of the credit files.
- Review the information in the Global Credit Management System in line with the facility ticket to check the data accuracy.
- Review and check the financial covenant / undertakings compliance certificates and advise the related departments of any non-compliance.
Skills Required of the Credit Administration Officer:
- Good financial analytical skills and dedicated problem solver with a positive personality and can-do attitude;
- Collaborative personality and ability to complete tasks independently;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
