We are recruiting for a prestigious bank in London, seeking an Assistant Vice President in the Execution Control Team to provide expert operational support across EMEA. About the Role
As a Documentation Control AVP, you will be a subject matter expert in loan documentation, playing a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution and control of loan transactions. You will collaborate closely with Front Office business departments, ensuring that loan documentation is meticulously aligned with the terms and conditions of credit applications and that all pre- and post-conditions are satisfied.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve all lending documentation for new business transactions, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines.
- Validate and approve loan terms, guarantees, and risk mitigating documents such as Credit Risk Insurance and Risk Participation agreements.
- Provide comprehensive pre-execution operational support, reviewing lending documentation for systematic booking requirements.
- Ensure that all pre-conditions are satisfied before transaction funding and drawdown.
- Maintain quality control of credit limit data input to support accurate internal and external regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with various departments across EMEA, ensuring effective communication and adherence to service level agreements.
About You
- Significant experience in financial services, with exposure to the syndicated loan market.
- Comprehensive understanding of loan documentation, and experience with the Loan Market Association guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of the transaction lifecycle, with the ability to identify and manage key risk factors.
- Highly organised with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will work well in a collaborative team environment.
- A proactive problem-solver with a meticulous attention to detail, able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
