About the opportunity
This is an opportunity to join a high-performing principal finance team working across corporate and real estate investments. The business is active across both primary and secondary markets and manages a diverse, institutional-grade portfolio.
You’ll sit at the heart of the loan lifecycle, working from pre-settlement through to maturity, partnering closely with front office, risk, legal and finance teams. This role offers genuine exposure to sophisticated transactions, strong internal stakeholders and a fast-paced, collaborative environment where operational excellence is critical to investment success.

- Daily interaction with front office investment professionals and senior stakeholders
- A role with real ownership, responsibility and visibility
- A collaborative, professional environment with strong operational standards
- Long-term career progression within a growing principal finance platform
What you’ll be doing

- Monitoring and managing borrower covenants and information undertakings
- Settling secondary loan trades manually and via ClearPar
- Submitting KYC requests and supporting conflicts checks
- Working closely with front office, risk, legal and finance to ensure policy and framework adherence
What you’ll bring
You’ll be someone who enjoys operating in a detail-driven, transaction-focused environment and understands the importance of precision in loan operations.
You are likely to bring:

Essential requirements
- 6 months to 2 years’ experience in loan administration / lending operations
- Hands-on experience with Loan IQ (or a comparable corporate loan management system)
- Experience managing syndicated and/or bilateral loans
- Understanding of loan lifecycle events (settlement, drawdowns, interest, repayments)
- Degree-level education in finance, accounting, economics, business or similar
Who this role suits
This role is ideal for a Lending Operations / Loan Administration professional who wants broader exposure, more ownership and closer alignment with investment teams, rather than a purely transactional processing role.
