Are you an experienced syndicated loans professional looking to take the next step in your career? We’re recruiting for a prestigious financial institution seeking a skilled Loans Agency Transaction Manager to join their Real Estate team within their Global Lending team acting within a Facility Agent capacity
This is your chance to become the primary face of agency services to high-value clients, managing complex real estate syndicated loan portfolios whilst working alongside industry-leading professionals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As the primary point of contact for borrowers, lending business units, and syndication members, you’ll take ownership of the complete facility agency lifecycle:
Portfolio Management & Client Relations
- Manage a sophisticated portfolio of real estate finance syndicated loan deals as facility agent
- Act as the primary escalation point for both internal teams and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with lenders, sub-participants, and borrowers
- Attend strategic lending desk meetings to understand market direction and volume changes
Documentation & Compliance Excellence
- Review complex facility documentation and configure debt management systems
- Manage consent and waiver applications across internal and external stakeholders
- Execute secondary trade documentation including outside assignments
- Ensure full compliance with legal covenant clauses and regulatory requirements
- Handle DTTP filings and withholding tax documentation
Covenant & Risk Management
- Create and maintain proactive covenant diary schedules
- Monitor and distribute financial information to syndicate participants
- Identify and escalate covenant breaches with detailed analysis
- Produce risk event assessments and management information reporting
- Track lender transfers and maintain accurate participant records
What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience
- Proven track record in syndicated loan markets
- Agency team experience with deep understanding of facility and administration agent duties ( real estate experience is NOT required )
- Secondary sales process expertise with complex documentation management
- Security and covenant management across diverse product ranges
- Strong regulatory knowledge applicable to lending operations
Technical Skills That Set You Apart
- Ability to interpret and operationalise complex credit and security documentation
- Advanced understanding of lending risk environments and downstream implications
- System adaptability with experience navigating evolving technical platforms
- Covenant analysis skills with ability to correlate to credit risk and portfolio management
