Role Overview
As the Vice President of Loan Agency Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational responsibilities and managing a diverse portfolio of syndicated loans. Your role will include leading a team that handles new deal onboarding, funding, amendments, rollovers, borrowings, repayments, and more. You will establish and implement procedures to mitigate risk and control losses, while also driving the optimization of loan settlement and servicing.
Your responsibilities will also include managing the hiring, development, and retention of top talent, ensuring your team is well-equipped for success. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance workflow efficiencies and maintain strict adherence to service level agreements and accounting policies.
What You Offer
- Syndicated Loans Experience
- Experience in design/migration/implementation initiatives.
- LoanIQ is beneficial but not essential
- Extensive background in Syndicated loan servicing and reviewing loan documentation (Credit Agreements, Engagement Letters, Fee Letters, etc.).
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles related to syndicated lending and applicable laws governing the space.
- Advanced analytical skills to improve productivity and operational processes.
- Proven ability to influence change cross-functionally and anticipate evolving business needs.
