About the Role
This role is designed for an ambitious professional with a background in Global Capital Markets (GCM), looking to transition into a client-facing sales role. You will work closely with the Loan Agency, Structured Products, and M&A administration teams, gaining valuable experience before progressing to a full-time sales position where you will then be rewarded by commission.
Key Responsibilities
As you develop in the role, you will:
- Build a deep understanding of the bank’s Global Capital Markets products and services.
- Conduct needs analysis for clients and prospects, identifying viable solutions.
- Develop and maintain a prospect list to generate new business opportunities.
- Foster relationships with clients, influencers, and prospects to expand the client base.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, identifying opportunities for new products as needed.
- Shadow experienced sales personnel to gain insights into the GCM sales process.
- Log all sales activities using the bank’s contact management system.
- Adhere to the bank’s risk management and regulatory standards, escalating any concerns.
- Promote an inclusive work environment that reflects the bank’s core values.
Skills and Experience Required
- Exposure to Capital Markets transactions, such as Loan Agency, Structured Finance, or M&A trustee services.
- A proven desire to move from Ops / MO into a front office sales role.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to conduct needs analysis and understand client requirements.
