We are looking for a Loans Deal Manager to join one of London’s largest international banking and wealth management groups. The Deal Management team are the primary internal contacts and relationship managers for all Corporate Lending Operation activities and focus their responsibilities on setting up deals & facilities in LoanIQ among many other roles.
Main Responsibilities of the Loans Deal Manager:
- Collation of lending pipeline information and distribution to appropriate stakeholders.
- Review of Draft Documentation at appropriate stages, with a view to suggesting any changes to improve the operational aspect of the transaction.
- Booking of New (Bi-lateral, Agency and Syndicated Participations) Deals & Facilities in Lending Source System, ensuring accuracy of data capture.
- Governance and management of initial pay away conditions in line with the New Deal
- Completion of Security build in source booking system
- Input & tracking of all conditions subsequent, including Credit defined sell downs
- Reconciliation of Derivatives booking versus Loan profiles to ensure the hedge is effective (if applicable)
- Client query management
- Delivery of bank wide initiatives/projects
Skills and Experience required of the Loans Deal Manager:
- Strong experience over a broad and complex product range.
- Experience of Loan System/s and ability to build deals.
- Ability to interpret and operationalise credit, ancillary & security documentation.
- Strong Understanding of lending risk environment
- Ability to negotiate documentation, requirements and verbal interactions
- Strong analytical mind-set
- Must be driven to facilitate, drive change and optimise efficiencies
