The Traded Loans Operations team support various Loan Trading business lines within the Global Markets area.
Main Responsibilities of the Senior Loans Operations Analyst:
- Monitoring & agreement of interest, repayments & dividends for distressed debt and structured assets.
- Management of loan positions trading under LMA, LSTA and bespoke documentation, for both performing and non-performing assets
- Working closely with Agent Banks, Servicers, Liquidators and Trustees to agree interest, fees & repayments on loans held in position
- Management of positions and client communications on bought and sold participated loans
- Frequent interaction with desk analysts to review portfolio transactions and structured deals
- Working closely with Loan Corporate Actions team to coordinate with the Desk Analysts, Traders and other internal partners on credit events
- Daily oversight of recs, cash and ledger breaks across various systems
- Responsible for creating, negotiating and agreeing confidentiality agreements directly with sales desks and clients
- Comprehensive review of public vs. private side asset information documents to ensure compliance with internal info sharing eligibility criteria
- Maintain online sharing database (SyndTrak) with public or private side asset information and regular review of relevant internal and external client access expiry to our workspaces.
Experience required of the Senior Loans Operations Analyst:
- A good level of understanding of the secondary loan trading market and the forms of documentation used
- Strong Loans Administration experience either as Participant or Agent.
- Need to be proficient in all aspects of client facing – both internal and external
- Competent user of Microsoft Office – including Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Exceptional prioritization, multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Team player conscious of the contribution they bring to the whole team
